The Justice and Equity Centre (JEC) (formerly the Public Interest Advocacy Centre) is a leading independent law and policy centre. It helps build a fairer, stronger society by tackling injustice and inequality.
In support of the community of Australians with lived experience of disability, the JEC has prepared an ‘explainer’ to provide more information to people aiming to participate in the consultation. It goes through each of the government’s proposals with some analysis, particularly where JEC thinks a proposal does not go far enough. Click here to access JEC’s explainer
