Medical Research Future Fund Reducing Health Inequities Mission – National Consultation on the Roadmap and Implementation Plan

The Reducing Health Inequities Mission is investing $150 million over 10 years from 2027-28 for research to address inequities in health outcomes among priority populations.

The Mission supports health and medical research to improve the health outcomes of priority populations. These include First Nations or diverse communities, people who have a disability or people who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

The Mission’s Roadmap is a high-level strategic document that includes the rationale, scope, goal, purpose, priorities for investment and funding principles for the Mission. To support the Roadmap, the Implementation Plan outlines the priorities for investment, enablers and, monitoring and evaluation measures.

This consultation is to seek feedback from the community on the Mission’s draft Roadmap and Implementation Plan. Submissions will be used to inform any further development of the Roadmap and Implementation Plan by the Expert Advisory Panel.
