Joint Position Statement: Draft Lists of NDIS Supports for NDIS Amendment Joint submission from Disability Representative Organisations
The national Disability Representative Organisations (DROs) are writing to express their strong concerns about several aspects of the proposed NDIS Supports lists:
- Lack of engagement and consultation
- Impacts on people with disability
- Implementation and review
Government is strongly urged to:
- Adopt a principles-based approach.
- Provide an extension for consultation.
- Provide clarity and assurances on exceptions and reviewable decisions.
