Feedback is open on proposed changes to make NDIS access processes, evidence requirements, and draft guiding principles clearer and more consistent.

Opened 31 August 2026. The proposed approach would introduce standardised functional capacity assessments and move away from diagnosis as the primary basis for access decisions, which has significant implications for Autistic applicants.
