Changes to the NDIS Framework Planning Rules
The Australian Government is currently consulting on major changes to how NDIS plans are made. These proposed changes are called the New NDIS Framework Planning. The Government intends to begin introducing these changes from mid-2026.
The Australian Autism Alliance is gathering information from Autistic individuals and thee autism community and our allies to strongly advocate for our community during this consultation period and whenever changes involving Autistic Australians are discussed.
About the new NDIS Framework Planning
In the NDIS New Framework Planning, NDIS participants will go through a new process that will gather information to assess their disability support needs. It has four steps in the participant journey (see diagram below), and this survey asks you 3 questions about each Planning Step so you can share your advice and opinions on each of them.
