Thank you, Andrew, for an extraordinary contribution to our sector and the Alliance!
As Andrew Davis steps down as CEO of the Autism CRC and transitions the organisation and his Chief Executive role, the Australian Autism Alliance recognises and thanks him for his significant contribution to the lives of Autistic Australians, that autism community, and to the Alliance itself.
In addition to his Autism CRC position, Andrew has been part of the Alliance’s journey from its early, formative days and has been a longstanding and valued contributor to our activities and impacts, most recently as a member of the Alliance Policy Committee.
Throughout that time, Andrew has brought an important research and evidence perspective to our discussions, alongside a deep knowledge of the autism sector and a strong commitment to ensuring that research translates into better outcomes for Autistic Australians and the autism community.
We also acknowledge and thank Autism CRC for its longstanding involvement in and support of the Alliance. That relationship has helped strengthen the connection between research, evidence, policy and advocacy – something that remains critically important as our community navigates a period of significant reform and change.
Andrew’s departure coincides with an important new chapter for the Autism CRC as it transitions to the Sylvia Rodger Institute, building on the organisation’s foundations and continuing its work in research, evidence and translation.
The Australian Autism Alliance, on behalf of our members and colleagues past and present, thank you, Andrew, for your leadership, generosity, knowledge and support over so many years.
We wish you every success as you move into your next chapter.
