Acknowledgement of country / Lived experience

The Australian Autism Alliance and its members acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea, and community. We pay our respects to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

We acknowledge the individual and collective expertise of those with a living or lived experience of autism, as well as the lived experience of people who have been carers. We recognise their vital contribution at all levels and value the courage of those who share their unique perspectives for the purpose of learning and growing together to achieve better outcomes for all.
